Udupi: The road connecting Kunjalu – Jeddu in Neelavara Gram Panchayat limits of Brahmavara Taluk has completely deteriorated and the Government has not responded to the public’s request to develop the road so far.

The locals had submitted a memorandum to Udupi Assembly constituency MLA Raghupathi Bhat requesting him to develop Kunjalu Road under Neelavara Gram Panchayat limits into a well-equipped concrete road.

Local people have complained that funds were released for road development works but the road development work was not done completely and jelly stones were dumped on the road up to 500 metres.

It is difficult for senior citizens, students and motorists to commute on the road where the jelly stones are piled up.
