Bantwal: “Out of the 165, we have fulfilled 155 poll promises. We have undertaken several developmental projects in all the constituencies across the state and we will fulfill the remaining promises before the next general election, said District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai here on October 30.
He was speaking to reporters during his visit to the houses as part of the party programme “Mane Manege Congress” here in Pachinadka in Kallige village on Monday.
“Our state government has implemented several pro-people programmes across the state and we are informing households about the benefits they have received under various welfare schemes–Anna Bhagya, Ksheera Bhagya, Pashu Bhagya, Arogya Bhagya, Krishi Bhagya, Vasathi Bhagya, Vidya Siri, midday meals, scholarships and a large number of rural and urban development programmes”, he said.
“Post Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s visit to Bantwal, funds have been released for drainage works and construction of sports stadium. The district has received grants of upto Rs 1000 Crore for various developmental activities.
Zilla Panchayat member Chandra Prakash Shetty, Panemangaluru Block Congress President Abbas Ali and other local party leaders were present.
