16-year-old boy dies in road accident

Kasargod: A 16-year-old boy died in a road mishap after the motorbike he was riding pillion, lost balance and rammed into an electric pole near Melparamba in Kasargod.
 
The victim is identified as Mansook (16), a student of Deli Sa Adiya College. His lecturer Abdul Noranhi (26) who was riding the bike was injured in the incident and he has been admitted to a hospital.
 
This accident occurred while the duo was travelling on the bike from Kasargod to Deli Sa Adiya College. The bike hit the poll when Abdul Noranhi avoided it from hitting a tempo coming from the opposite direction.
 
Immediately, after the mishap, Mansook was taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru but he succumbed. 
 
A case is registered in Bekal Police Station.
