Bantwal: The village stay is the project of the state government in which 90% problems will be solved on the spot, said Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V. He inaugurated the programme of village stay at Kodangayi, Vitla Padnur on Saturday March 20.
The village stay has helped to know the real picture of the issues and people also are comforted, he said and asked the people to speak up without thinking of politics. He went on to say that the minister is made aware of the expenses of village stay.
On the occasion he said, “Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod have the highest amount of communication. Covid tests are not being performed on all the state boundaries. Therefore, entry to Karnataka is allowed only on four main roads. Necessary precautions are being taken there.”
He stressed on the importance of wearing masks, maintaining social distance and sanitization. Free vaccination is provided in government hospitals. Several medicines are available through Ayush department, he said.
During the inauguration of the village stay, the people raised several of their issues and demands. Some of them were forest land, road margin etc for disposal of 94C and 94CC applications. Disposal of dry waste, Bahugrama drinking water, Ambedkar Bhavan sites and reservation of land for crematorium.
