Mangaluru: The AAM Aadmi Party in Dakshina Kannada released a press release stating that they have observed few inconsistencies in the system to get vaccinated. The party pointed out the recent incident at PHC Vamanjoor, in which the district administration invited the general public to obtain token vaccines, despite the online system was a huge mistake. They also questioned the administration is completely aware of the current situation or if it is lack awareness that drove them to allow such a large gathering during this pandemic.

To avoid confusion regarding vaccination, the AAP-DK recommends in the press release that the government publish a list of people scheduled to appear at any specific location on their website. The party also requested the administration to give information regarding how they ensure vaccination of the illiterate poor people or senior citizens and demands for a clear mechanism be developed.

It was stated in the press release that the party appreciates the efforts from the Mangaluru DC, who ordered an investigation into a data breach involving vaccinations after it was discovered that many people were receiving telephonic calls from the people representative’s office regarding their schedule. APP-DK stressed that the reservation on vaccination by the system should be carried out properly.
