Mangaluru: Andrea Marylou Noronha has been promoted as Assistant Editor of Newskarnataka.com by the management of the news portal’s parent company, Spearhead Media Pvt. Ltd. She began her journalistic career a year ago with Newskarnataka.com as copy editor, after having a combined experience of 2 years in the finance and HR fields.
Having always loved to write, Andrea decided to step away from the finance field to pursue a career in content writing. She has always had a love for blogging, writing short stories, anecdotes and movie reviews. While pursuing her B.Com at St Agnes (Autonomous) College, she participated and won several writing contests. Her stories and poems were even published in the college magazine.

Apart from reading and writing, Andrea enjoys travelling, singing, dancing, watching movies and painting bottles and other glass objects. Her art page on FB has many followers.
Andrea is the daughter of F P Percy Noronha, a finance professional and Janet P Noronha, a teacher. She completed her Master’s degree in Commerce at St. Aloysius (Autonomous) College and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.
