Mangaluru: Christmas is a season to spread cheer and happiness among all the people and to celebrate the season exactly in the same manner, city based NGO White Doves is presenting the people of Mangaluru with their annual mobile show on Christmas. Starting from November 25, “2016 Year Old Fact in a Mobile Act” will definitely spread the joy of Christmas in Udupi, Shirva and Mangaluru.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, November 23, White Doves Founder and President Corrine Rasquinha mentioned that the mobile show will be enacted on a 95 foot long stage on a mobile trailer. “A group of 150 artistes consisting of musicians, dancers, actors and technical team will perform for an hour and half at three different locations on three consecutive days”, Corrine said.
“White Doves has performed more than 300 different shows in the city and around for the past 21 years. The show will be free for all with no entry fee. It will be filled with jingles, joy and frolic as the show will entertain the gathering with dance and music related to the life and times of Jesus Christ”, Corrine added.
On the first day, the show will be performed in Christian Pre University College grounds in Udupi on Friday, 25 November and at Our Lady of Health Church in Shirva on the following day. On the final day, the troupe will perform at two locations in Mangaluru city. First at Nehru Maidan at 5.30 PM and the next in St. Agnes Special School Grounds at 8 pm. In Udupi and Shirva, the shows will begin at 6 PM.
