Mangaluru: Colours of India, an art exhibition and camp will be held in Mangaluru International Airport from August 13 to 15 in association with Gallerie Orchid.
In an interactive art camp, the passengers will be requested to paint the canvases kept in the waiting lounge in the airport. The canvases painted by many passengers will culminate into one painting. The concept is built on the theme – Unity in diversity, representing the multihued culture of India.
The programme will begin at 10 in the morning on August 13 and will continue till the evening of August 15. The canvases thus painted will be displayed in the airport later. A total of 8 paintings in medium to big size canvases will also be on exhibition, painted by well-known artists will also be on display.
William Pais, Director of Gallerie Orchid has curated the programme in association with Mangaluru International Airport.
