Mangaluru: Pandeshwar police arrested a 28-year-old person who allegedly assaulted a lady doctor of private hospital in city.
The arrested has been identified as Abdul Rahiman (28), a resident of Jeppu Morgan’s Gate. According to the sources, the accused Abdul’s father was receiving treatment at a private hospital in Falnir. Abdul was not satisfied with the treatment given to his father, for which he took lady doctor to task on December 26. When doctor attempted to convince him about the treatment, Abdul got angry and assaulted the lady doctor. The incident was captured in CCTV camera of the hospital. As it was posted in social media, it went viral.
A case was registered at Pandeshwar police station in this regard. Based on the complaint, Pandeshwar police arrested the accused on Friday, December 28.
