Puttur: The inconvenience caused around the demonetisation move in a way has brought out the brighter side of our society as well. While some resorted to holding free food supplies, some others did their bit in their own small way. Here in Puttur, an auto rickshaw driver too offered his valuable contribution by offering free service to all those who were heading to banks to exchange their currencies.
Meet Sadiq from Mundoor. This young man is a popular face in Mundoor, Naithadi and Panjala area because in this region Sadiq runs his auto with an ever smiling face. On Tuesday morning Sadiq decided to ferry the locals of Mundoor and nearby areas to banks free of cost.
Sadiq, who is in full support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move, says that this was his small way of showing his solidarity to the brave step taken by the PM.
“I will be doing my bit till Wednesday night because I too have my own restrictions,” says Sadiq, who has put up a banner on his auto informing people about his free service.
