Mangaluru: Holding the Popular Front of India (PFI) responsible for communal tension in the country, Bajrang Dal has demanded the government to ban the outfit.

Addressing the media at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office here on Monday, October 26, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana Unit Convener of Bajrang Dal, Sooryanarayan said that the PFI has been the major reason for activities such as Love Jihad, cattle theft and many murders of Hindu activists. As the Muslim youth are being misled, the Muslim senior leaders should shoulder the responsibility of putting them on the right track.

“If the dominance of the PFI continues, the Hindus will be compelled to roam around with lethal weapons,” he threatened.

Demand to call off Tipu Jayanti

“Tipu Sultan is a traitor. He had killed millions of Hindus to make India a Muslim dominated country. He hated Kannada language and used to convert Hindus into Islam. Now, the Karnataka government has decided to sanction Rs 50,000 to every district in the state to celebrate his anniversary. This cannot be tolerated. The government must call off the plan immediately, failing which it will have to face severe consequences,” Suryanarayan said.

He added that the Bajrang Dal would rather support events pertaining to remembering Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Sant Shishunal Sharif.

‘Govt must give Rs 25 lakh compensation to Prashanth Poojary’s family’

The Bajrang Dal is of the opinion that the Karnataka government which granted Rs 10 lakh compensation to the family of Kabir who was killed in the Tanikhodu Sringeri shootout, should grant Rs 25 lakh compensation to Prashanth Poojary’s family.

“When the Congress government has granted Rs 10 lakh compensation to a thief’s family, it certainly has to grant a minimum of Rs 25 lakh compensation to the family of Prashanth, who never took law in his hands, but always informed the police about illegal slaughtering, thereby discharging the duty of a responsible citizen,” he said.

Government should pass anti-slaughter bill to resolve communal tension

Suryanarayan said that cow slaughter was one of the main reasons for communal rifts in the country and opined that passing an anti-slaughter bill would resolve the issue. “If no cow is killed, communal tension will automatically be resolved,” he said.

Regional Bajrang Dal leaders Sharan Pumpwell, Pradeep and Praveen were present at the press meet.
