Mangaluru: Fitness superstar Milind Soman has set out on a challenging mission to advance green transportation. Soman will ride the Ather 450X (Ather 450X Electric Scooter is one of the quickest scooters in the 125cc scooter category) from Mumbai to Mangalore, travelling 1,400 kilometres through 10 towns in 8 days.
The ride is part of a campaign to educate the public and motivate them to make wise decisions in order to preserve the environment and maintain clean, pollution-free air. The causes of sustainable environment, clean air, and renewable energy are promoted.
The journey began on December 19 and will end on December 26 in Mangalore after travelling through Mumbai, Pune, Karad, Kolhapur, Belgaum, Shegaon, Hirebennur, Tumkuru, and Mysore. Soman’s journey will take him to solar energy facilities, tree plantation drives, and other locations.
