Mangalore: A Padayatra was taken out by several Yuva Morcha workers from Mangala Stadium to Hampankatta on May 1, Wednesday.
Several Yuva Morcha workers and party leaders including Capt. Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandari, MLCs, District Yuva Morcha President Raghavendra Rao, Srikar Prabhu and others were present.
At a function held at BJP office later on, HMS leader Sureshchandra Shetty and several of his supporters joined the BJP.
District BJP Chief Padmanabha Kottari, who spoke on the occasion, said BJP has given due representation to youth while selecting candidates.
Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP and others were present on the occasion.
