Sarvamangala Trust recently launched Christmas hampers @ Rs: 750 each to raise funds for its public service activity which involves the first-ever virtual training for public service examinations, predominantly for visually impaired girls of Karavali region. The hampers themselves were made by the visually impaired and persons with other disabilities.
According to a press release issued by the trust, the funds raised through the sale of Christmas Hampers will cover 20% of the expenses incurred in this public service coaching project. This project will help to aspire visually impaired girls attempt the public service examinations confidently.
Sarvamangala’s Public services coaching program aims to coach at least 30 persons with and equip them with all the knowledge and skillsets to confidently to take the public sector (PSC) exams such as banking (IBPS, SBI etc) & government department exams (SSC, Railways etc) to enable these youth with disabilities to reach their goal of getting into mainstream employment, become economically independent and thereby lead a life with dignity.
The training project costs: Rs.3, 56,800/- (3 Lakh, Fifty-Six Thousand and Eight hundred) for 30 Visually Impaired girls.
They invite people passionate about this cause to sponsor this public service activity.
Funders/Donors individuals’ & corporates can either fund the whole project or sponsor single or multiple individual girls’ training for 6 months.
