Mangaluru: CAMPCO Ltd, known for its unique chocolate products with natural ingredients, has released yet another toffee named ‘CAMPCO Spice Toffee’, along with a TV commercial.
Addressing the media at the head office on Wednesday, November 20, CAMPCO General Manager Reshma Mallya said, “The TV commercial is targetted towards the youths and involves Instagram users where there are footballers, rappers, youth affected with depigmentation who are aspirants of being a model etc. The theme is that youngsters should celebrate their first moment with Campco chocolates to boost their confidence.”
“Heavy Digitals has produced the advertisement, which will be released in English, Hindi and five other regional languages,” she added.
Mallya also informed that CAMPCO Ltd has launched a new website www.campcochocolates.com, which, in the coming days, will include an option to purchase chocolates online.
Suresh Bhandary M, Managing Director CAMPCO said, “As the company is known for producing chocolates with natural ingredients, the latest edition ‘Spice Toffee’ has 3 per cent pepper and ginger extract. As the Research and Development (R&D) team have experimented with blending the spices (pepper) produced by our farmers, similarly, in the coming days we will be replacing the sugar syrup in our chocolates with jaggery, which will give it a traditional touch. We aim at giving the product a homemade feel. “
“Around 12 tons of ‘Spice Toffee’ will be released throughout the country in Phase 1 and based on the response, we will produce more,” he added.
S R Satishchandra, president of CAMPCO said, “As we use raw materials produced by the farmers like arecanut, pepper, sugar etc. it helps in providing a satisfying product to the consumers as well as to boost the confidence in farmers to produce the raw materials. We have introduced a new tagline ‘For Every First In Life’ in order to show certain personalities gaining confidence and celebrating their achievement with a bite of CAMPCO chocolates.”
During the programme the first set of chocolates were handed over to CAMPCO distributers Ganesh Kumar of Rashmi Enterprises, Kaikamba and Kushal Gowda of Bharat Traders, Puttur.
