Centenarians love for his wife made him follow her in death too

Moodbidri : In a case reported from Daregudde  Padubettu here on May 27, Monday, a centenarian man who was deeply agonized over the death of his house,  breathed his last within a few hours after his wife’s death.

Reports said Narsi Shedti(90), wife of Angara Shetty , a centenarian had died at around 3.30 pm. A sorrow-stricken Angara had performed the last rites of his wife, but breathed his last soon after, thus uniting with his wife in death too.

Family members revealed that  though Angara had suffered from a cardiac arrest two months ago, he had survived though they had lost all hopes.

The deceased couple is survived by five sons and four daughters.
