Mangaluru: A meeting was convened in the presence of State BJP President MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Minister for Kannada and Culture Department V. Sunil Kumar, Mangaluru South MLA D. Vedavyas Kamath, and MCC Mayor Premanand Shetty to inform on the State visit of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Saturday February 26.
On Monday February 28, CM Bommai will be leaving from Bengaluru Airport to Belagavi and he will lay the foundation stone for the projects of National Highway 05 organised by Ministry Of Road Transport and National Highway as well as National Highway Authority of India and State Public Works Department (PWD) at 11.00 pm.
Later, he will leave for Hubballi. There he will inaugurate Information Van to be used to create awareness on road projects undertaken by the Centre organised by Public Relations Department. In this programme, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will also be present. In Hubballi, he will lay the foundation stone for projects of National Highway 26 organised by Ministry of Road Transport as well as National Highway Authority of India in association with State PWD at 1.30 pm.
Visit to Mangaluru
At 3.00 pm, he will be leaving for Mangaluru. CM Bommai will lay the foundation stone for the projects of National Highway 15 organised by Ministry of Road Transport as well as National Highway Authority of India and PWD at 4.30 pm.
In the evening, he address the Members of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Hotel Ocean Pearl here. At 7.30 pm, he will be leaving for Bengaluru in a private aircraft.
