Bangalore: Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah has condemned the cruel incident , rape of a medical student in Manipal on Thursday night. He said that all measures would be taken to punish the culprits involved with the crime.
In a statement ,he said that home minister, K J George, would be visiting Manipal on Sunday June 23, to take a look of the situation and disscus about the incident with the concern and take right measures in further investigation.
The incident has evoked rage of anger amongst the people and the the students. Protests were held by the students and others at Udupi and Manipal. Their demand being immidate arrests of the culprits.
