Mangaluru: It was reported on Monday December 6 that students of a private nursing college here in the City have been infected with Coronavirus. The news comes in the wake of Covid – 19 cases being found at various residential educational institutions across the State.
A staff from MV Shetty College of Nursing in a condition of anonymity said that the exact details can be disclosed only after due discussion with the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V. However, the staff confirmed that Corona cases exist in the college.
It can be recalled here that Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday December 4 said that any area with three or more cases of Covid – 19 will be classified as a cluster. The decision was taken to contain the spread of the Omicron variant of Coronavirus in the State.
