Mangaluru: According to sources, the Covid – 19 cases continue to rise in the Dakshina Kannada District. On Tuesday January 11, the District reported 583 cases. The Covid positive rate stands at 5.73 per cent.
Three new Covid clusters have been identified in Mangaluru Taluk.
One of the three clusters is in a private medical college’s hostel, where ten people tested positive for Covid. The second cluster is an apartment, which has seven cases, and the third is a construction site, which has eight cases.
The number of new infections in the District has increased significantly in the last week.
