Kasaragod: Three Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists have been arrested in connection to murder of Mohanan (55), a CPI (M) member and activist.
Navjeet (24), P K Rahul (21), and Roopesh (22), all from Koothuparamba are the arrested. It is said that the trio has confessed to the crime and Navjeet is the prime accused in the case.
The killing is an act of revenge plotted by Navjeet to settle scores as he was attacked by a few CPM activists two weeks ago.
Mohanan, secretary of the CPM local committee, was killed by a gang of men at a toddy shop at Koothuparamba on October 12.
