Mangaluru: Mangaluru Customs officers seized 310.000 grams of 24 carat pure gold worth Rs. 14,69,400 from a male traveller at Mangaluru International Airport.
The culprit has been identified as a man from Kasaragod, Kerala. He who flew in from Sharjah on Indigo flight 6E8461 on Tuesday September 28.
According to reports, the gold was hidden in powder form inside the PAX chocolate-coloured trousers.
