Dakshina Kannada: Change in night restrictions

Mangaluru: Change in night restrictions in Dakshina Kannada District will now allow shops to remain open till 9.00 pm from Friday August 6. The order regarding closure of shops in the District limits from 6.00 pm to 6.00 am now stands modified.

Shops will be allowed to remain open from Friday till 9.00 pm and the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V. has issued a fresh order for the shops to remain closed from 9.00 pm to 6 am. Liquor shops will also be open from Friday and will be allowed to operate till 6.00 pm.

Deputy Commissioner has stated that the remaining restrictions will stay in place.
