Mangaluru: Following instructions from MLA Sanjeeva Matandooru, the Home Guards Department has suspended a Home Guard from Puttur in Dakshina Kannada District for allegedly sending messages on social media that disturbed public peace.
Salaauddin Naushad, a Home Guards personnel posted at the Puttur RTO, has been suspended. The complaints were received against him for sending a message on WhatsApp that disturbed public peace.
As per the instructions of MLA Sanjeeva Matandooru, Home Guards Commandant Dr. Muralidhar Choontharu said Salaauddin Naushad will be placed under suspension and report will be submitted after duly questioning him.
