Mangaluru: Police have issued a lookout notice for lawyer K. S. N. Rajesh who was accused of sexual harassment and threat.
According to the sources, a special team of senior officers has been formed. Officials issued the notice in order to prevent Rajesh from fleeing the country.
According to the complaint, on August 8, the student went to Rajesh’s office in Karangalpady for training. Following that, the advocate had coaxed the young girl to have sex with him on many occasions. As per the FIR, on September 25, he called the intern to his chambers and attempted to sexually exploit her.
For the past five years, Rajesh has worked as a special government prosecutor in corruption cases filed with the Lokayukta.
On social media, an audio clip of Rajesh and the student’s alleged phone call was also circulated. Rajesh, on the other hand, has denied all charges.
Another student had also lodged a complaint against Rajesh. The complainant claimed that a lady took her to the Urwa Police Station under the guise of protecting her and forced her to submit an apology letter in front of Rajesh.
