Mangaluru: The Don Bosco Hall in the city was jam-packed with Konkani music lovers and fans of Konkani world’s veteran singer Mike Simon as his popular songs reverberated during the landmark ‘ 5th Mike Simon Nite’ presented by Humanity First Foundation and Laity Apostolate Commission, Angelore.
The musical concert was exclusively dedicated to the Late Sharon Alva who served as the national vice president of HFF. The packed audience at the venue was treated to a plethora of popular melodies composed and penned by Mike Simon himself.
Apart from the musical extravaganza, the evening consisted of spectacular dances and rib tickling jokes. Fr William Menezes. parish priest, Angelore church, presided over the formal stage programme. David D’Souza, proprietor, DCONS Group, Praveen Tauro, marketing manager, Daijiworld Media, Elias Fernandes, director, Fourwinds Mangaluru, Santhosh Sequeira, proprietor, Santhosh Arrangers, Richard Moras, coordinator, Konkani Lekhak Sangh, Stanly Bantwal, proprietor, Anvita Photography and Ancita Videography were present as chief guests.
Rajesh Misquith welcomed the dignitaries and gathering while Noel Pinto proposed a vote of thanks.
