Mangaluru: Well known Senior Specialist Dr Julian Saldanha assumed the post of Resident Medical Officer (RMO) recently.
Dr Saldanha was appointed to serve in the Dept of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka in 1991, as an Assistant Surgeon. He earned his MD in internal medicine from Fr Muller’s Hospital Mangaluru in 1997 and initially served in Bhatkal before being promoted and posted at Government District Wenlock hospital Mangalore as Senior Specialist.
Dr Julian Saldanha, is active in the medical and social scene of the city; he served successfully as Secretary of Association of Physicians of India, DK branch for two terms, Member of IMA – Indian Medical Association, Rachana, Mens sodality, Member of Dakshina Kannada cricket association and so on.
A wide cross section of the medical fraternity and citizens of Mangaluru welcomed him.
