Mangaluru: An elderly person was abandoned by his own son, at Deralakatte on Monday, June, 29.
According to the sources, an elderly person aged around 70 had come from Mumbai along with his son 15 days ago. He was being treated at a private hospital at Deralakatte. Later, they hired a room at a lodge, located near the hospital.
On Monday morning, the elderly person’s son dragged out his father from the lodge room and assaulted him. Later, he stripped his father naked and abandoned him on the street. The whole incident has been captured on the CCTV camera installed at the building. The video footage of this incident has gone viral on social media now.
As this elderly person was abandoned by his son, the locals helped him to avail treatment in a hospital.
