“Electrical Point” first opened on 27 November 2000 at Falnir, Mangalore in a space of about 300 sq ft. Small? Yes, but it was just the beginning of a successful business. The firm supplied decorative lights and fans according to the needs and taste of its customers. As the years rolled by, the business flourished necessitating a bigger showroom. On 17 May 2004, the showroom moved to Essel Chambers, Karangalpady, Mangalore and into a shop with an area of about 700 sq ft. As the customers’ response grew, it became necessary to extend the showroom to over 2000 sq ft in the same building. On 14 May 2012, they moved to the new premises at Kadri Road, opposite Sujir C V Nayak Hall near Bunts Hostel, in a 3-storeyed building named “Electrical Point Complex” with an area of 1500 sq ft, making it the largest showroom in Coastal Karnataka.
Electrical point now serves customers from in and around the Dakshina Kannada district including Udupi, Kodagu, Shivamogga, Chikkamagalur, Davanagere and Hubballi. They also have loyal customers in Kerala and Goa and some other states.

Electrical Point boasts of a huge array of decorative lamps, fans, wall fixtures, LED fixtures, CFL and LED bulbs, water heaters, and various other electrical goods. They also deal in high quality chandeliers and other decorative fixtures that have been manufactured by renowned Indian and foreign companies. A special discount of up to 45 percent is always available on decorative lights (not including GST).
