Elephant attack in Subrahmanya: 21-year-old injured - 1 min read

Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, a youth was seriously injured when a wild elephant attacked him at Kollamogaru Village near Subrahmanya of Sullia Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District on the morning of Sunday March 13.

The injured has been identified as Guruprasad (21), a resident of Konadka in Kollamogaru..the youth was on his way to deliver the milk to a milk dairy on a motorbike when an elephant caught him unawares and attacked him.

An onlooker chased the wild elephant, and also informed the others. Guruprasad has been shifted to a hospital in Sullia.
