Father Muller Medical College Hospital win big at a Medicine quiz in Tokyo, Japan

Mangaluru: Sandeep Rao Kordcal and Anil D’Souza, final year MBBS students of Father Muller Medical College, have emerged Runners-up in the International Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Quiz (Fujio Cup Quiz) conducted by NCRM NICHE at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. A cash prize of 50,000 Japanese Yen was awarded to the runners-up.

After 2 preliminary rounds of quizzing and research article writing, the top 18 teams from across the world were selected as Elite participants to interact with stem cell researchers and take part in the pre-final and final round in Tokyo.

The Management and Faculty of the Father Muller Charitable Institution congratulated them and pray for their safe journey back homeThe Director, FMCI, Rev. Fr Richard A Coelho, Administrator, FMMC, Rev. Fr Ajith B. Menezes, Dean, FMMC, Dr. J.P. Alva and the faculty are feeling elated by their performance and await the winner’s return.
