Mangaluru: The fifteenth and concluding episode of ‘Art of the Week’ series presented by Art Kanara Trust is showcasing a collection of paintings by visual artist Obayya. The display was unveiled in the presence of Suryanarayana Bhat P. S., Programme Executive, All India Radio, Mangaluru and Dr. Nithin N. K., Project Officer, Heritage Village, Pilikula Development Authority at Kodialguthu Center for Art & Culture, G.G. Road, Ballalbagh here on Monday November 8 at 6.00 pm.
‘Art of the Week’ series is presented by Art Kanara Trust jointly with S Cube Art Gallery and Mind Craft Studios.
The paintings will continue to be on display till Saturday November 13 from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm and 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Subhas Chandra Basu, Convener, INTACH Mangaluru Chapter anchored the programme.
As per the press release, the present phase of ‘Art of the Week’ series will conclude with this episode. The next phase of the series based on new themes will be announced later.
