Mangaluru: A gang rivalry turned violent when two-men allegedly attacked in an attempt to murder two youths at Alake on Monday night, July 27.
The victims identified as Inderjit and Lathish were allegedly attacked by two persons who came in a Maruti 800 car.
Reportedly, after the attack the men, sat in their car and fled away however in a rush they collided with another three parked vehicles, they still drove away until the car stopped at Mannagudda.
One of them then, stopped a bike, pushed the rider and escaped with his bike, it is said.
Sources said one of the assaulters was Ravichandra alias Vicky Poojary of Kodikal, a rowdy sheeter. It is also learnt that Lathish, the victim, is also a rowdy sheeter, and is a part of gang from Barke.
Kadri police reached on the spot, they took the car into custody that were stuffed with weapons. Investigation is on.
