Moodabidri: Girls’ team of Alva’s won state-level Basketball championship for the second consecutive time, in Bengaluru recently.
In the under-16 category, Alva’s girls beat DYSS, Mandya team in the semi-final league match with 38-22 points and Beagal Club Bengaluru team by 28-27 points. In the finals, Alva’s team crushed Kreedashale Vidyanagar team by 37-35 points and clinched the championship.
