Vaccination Campaign To Be Held In City Till Nov 30

Mangaluru: As per the directions of the State Government, the District Commissioner and the Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer have flagged off the Har Ghar Dastak, door-to-door vaccination. The campaign that began on November 3 will continue till November 30.

In collaboration with NSS candidates of all the colleges in the City, the MCC have identified citizens who have not yet received the first and second dose of vaccine. Along with this, the services of NSS student volunteers are also deployed at helpline call centers of Covid War Room under the supervision of MCC Health Inspectors.

MCC Health Officers, Medical staff from Urban Primary Healthcare Centres, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers have been visiting each house with NSS students. Citizens at work associations, educational institutions, factories, industries, construction sites, and resident associations are requested to provide required information and cooperate to make the campaign a success.

MCC Commissioner Akshy Shridhar has requested all citizens under the MCC limits to take the first and second dose of vaccines and help the State and thereby India achieve progress in vaccination percentage.
