Harsha Gupta to be new DC of Dakshina Kannada?

Mangalore:  It has been reliably learnt that Harsha Gupta would  be the new Deputy Commissioner of DK district  who would be replacing the present incumbent N Prakash.

Harsha Gupta, an IAS officer of the 1997 batch hails from Delhi. He  initially served in Delhi and has in the later years   was posted in Karnataka where he has served as Deputy Commissioner of Chamrajnagar, Chikmagalur, Bellary, Shimoga and Bidar. Gupta has also served as Managing Director of KMF.

The Government has already initiated the transfer of officials in the wake of the ensuing Assembly elections.
