Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) in yet another passenger centric offering has activated free high speed Wi-Fi service in the integrated terminal building on Thursday March 24. The service will help passengers, both domestic and international use the Wi-Fi for two-hours, thus helping them catch up with their work before departing or arriving at this #GatewayToGoodness.
Passengers need to turn on their Wi-Fi service on their hand-held or computing devices and select Wi-Fi@MIAL and they will be directed to the landing page of the Wi-Fi web portal. Passengers will be presented with two options, mobile number or coupon, with the latter option normally for international passengers who arrive with an inactive local SIM or with an international mobile number.
Passengers will be prompted to receive their OTP after entering the mobile number and Wi-Fi gets activated on entering the OTP. International passengers need to approach the May I Help You Counters located at arrival/departure areas with their passports. Customer service executives will provide them with scratch coupons with OTP following due procedure to activate the service.
The airport has always given the highest priority to meet the passenger demand for high-speed Wi-Fi service and its successful activation is a reaffirmation of this commitment to meet their expectations. Airport has also set up Wi-Fi access points in the city side extension area of the integrated terminal building that will be dedicated for public use shortly for seamless connectivity.
