Mangaluru: The discussion over Halal and Jathka cut is prevailing currently in the State. Muslims eat Halal meat whereas Hindus should eat Jathka cut. I don’t understand what is the problem with Congress, who are out to sensationalise the issue, said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa.
Speaking to mediapersons on Sunday April 3, Eshwarappa said that Congress is out to disturb the Hindu and Muslim unity. They have been hatching since years, minister added.
Eshwarappa stating that Congress has no right to comment on BJP, said JD (S) Leader Kumaraswamy has not been uttering a single word against BJP, whereas Siddaramaiah and Congress has been relentlessly condeming and criticising BJP as if there is competition to be won. All this drama is only to attract Muslim votes, he asserted.
