Mangaluru: The Indian Overseas Bank, Regional office Mangalore conducted a Vigilance Awareness Week meeting in their Office at Ballabagh. Dr. Selvamani IAS, CEO, DK Zilla Panchayat was the Chief Guest. He spoke about the importance of creating vigilance awareness among the public. “Corruption is not confined to any particular section alone but it is widespread among all spectrums of the society. If the society itself is corrupt, the same will be reflected in all areas say bureaucracy, politics, banking, etc. Hence it is our primary responsibility to create awareness among the general public about the need to be vigilant”, he said.
Mr. Anoop T H Senior Regional Manager of the Bank also addressed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of staff being vigilant during their routine jobs.
