Mangaluru: Direct flights from Mangaluru to the national capital New Delhi will resume from July 1.
An announcement in this regard was made recently.
IndiGo Airlines, a low-cost carrier, will provide direct flights between IXE and DEL. Every week, on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, four nonstop flights will connect the two cities.
“This was proposed in the summer schedule and will go into effect on July 1. Basically, this is a reintroduction of the daily direct flight that was available before to the Covid lockdown. The only difference is that it now occurs four times per week. IndiGo had also proposed a summer schedule that included an early morning flight to Bengaluru and one flight to Kochi,” informed airport officials.
The company informed that flight bookings have already begun.
