Mangaluru: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) operating from PVS Kalakunj complex Kodialbail celebrated the “Shri Krishna Janmashtami” festival at their temple.
The festival commenced with the Shringararaathi, Rajbogh Aarathi. During this time Sri. A.G. Pai and Committee Member Sri. Balakrishna Rai were present. In between there was recital of Bhajans and Chanting of Kirtans. The Day 1 festival culminated with the Maha Abhisheka and Mangala Arati. Thousands of devotees attended these celebrations and offered prayers with fruits and flowers and had darshan of the Lord Krishna and accepted prasadam. The ISKCON President Gunakara Rama Dasa supervised the whole day programme. The 2nd day programme will commence with Shringararaathi at 07.00 a.m and culminate with Mahamangala Arati at 12.00 midnight.
