Mangalore :   The Janata Dal (S) would win an absolute majority and form the next government in Karnataka, said SP Changappa, JD(S) candidate from Mangalore South constituency.

Speaking to reporters at the party’s election office in Mangalore on April 28, Sunday after  inaugurating a unique publicity campaign through walkers, Changappa said the state JD(S) chief HD Kumaraswamy would be the next chief minister of the state.

He said Kumaraswamy during his 20 month tenure as CM of the state has implemented several welfare programmes and even tried to feel the pulse of the people through his village stay.

Changappa took a dig at the BJP candidate Yogish Bhat and alleged he failed to achieve anything despite serving as MLA four times. Yogish Bhat spoke of many projects but failed to implement any, he added.

Changappa also met the lawyers fraternity and sought their support.
