Mangaluru: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in the city on Wednesday night after participating in the ‘Jana Raksha’ Yatra in Kerala earlier in the day and paid a visit to the Kadri Yogeshwar Mutt Temple also known as the Jogi Mutt.
Yogi Adityanath hails from Natha tradition and the Mutt happens to be the most revered by the Natha sect. While Yogi had visited the Mutt on a previous occasion too, this was his first visit after becoming the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.
The mutt had organized a programme on the backdrop of Yogi Adityanath’s visit and arrangements were made to take care of his needs during his stay here. He was welcomed by BJP partyworkers at the mutt.
Addressing the gathering after visiting the temple Yogi said that we should contribute to development of the nation and lead it to higher pinnacle of glory. “Along with protecting the Sanathana Dharma, the duty towards nation should be our motive,” he said.
Regarding his visit to Kerala for Jana Raksha Yatra, he said that the Kerala state which is identified after Shankar Acharya, Narayana Guru, Matha Amrithanandamayi is now witnessing brutal killings of BJP, RSS activists. The CPI(M) is carrying out such attack through planned strategies.
Yogeshwar Mutt seer Shri Niramalanath Swamiji and other seers were present on the stage.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, BJP District president Sanjeeva Matandoor and others were present during the occasion.
