Kalladka: Communally sensitive Kalladka region has turned tense with stabbing incident on Tuesday, Dec 26.
Keshava, an accused in Karopady Jaleel murder case was attacked by two bike borne miscreants. However, the attempt to kill him met failure.
Following the incident, Kalladka and nearby areas have worn a deserted look. The situation is under control say police sources.
It may be recalled that Karopady Taluk Panchayat Vice President Jaleel Karopady was brutally murdered by motorbike-borne, masked assailants on April 20, 2017. Police have arrested 11 of the underworld don Vicky Shetty’s aides in connection with the case.
Reacting on the incident, DK police superitendant Sudhir Kumar Reddy said, four teams have been formed to nab the miscreants and have definite clues on one .Efforts are on to nab the attackers quickly, he added.
