Mangaluru: Karnataka’s first-ever ‘Style Icon’ contest was held at Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall recently, wherein 42 contestants participated in three different categories.
State working president of INTUC Rakesh Malli inaugurated the programme.
In Mr style icon contest, Sidharth Shetty emerged as a winner and Nithin Shetty emerged runner-up. Another contestant Deekshith Shetty received second runner up award.
In the Miss Style Icone category, Vijetha Poojary emerged as winner and Hitha Shetty received runner-up award. Adithi Kotian secured second runner up award.
In Mrs Style Icone category Shwetha Santhosh emerged as winner and Shreema Priyadarshini was the first runner up. Another contestant Roopa Shetty received second runner-up award.
A grooming session for contestants was held by Nishitha Suvarna, free of cost.
Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath, Kannada Big Boss reality show winner Shine Shetty and celebrities like Pruthvi Amber, Navya Poojary, Roopesh Shetty, INTUC vice president Steven D’Souza, district secretary Chittaranjan Shetty, corporator Anil Kumar among others were present.
