Mangaluru: Kodikal in the City wears a deserted look with shopkeepers and citizens alike observing a daylong bandh on Monday November 15 in condemnation of Nagabana desecration, and thereby demanding the arrest of culprits. Hindu organisation, Bajrang Dal has called for this bandh.

It can be recalled here that the Nagabana was found to be desecrated on Saturday November 13. And this incident is one among the series of such incidents reported in the last one month in this stretch of the City.

From Monday morning it is witnessed that the buses are not plying in the area as well as shops and other commercial establishments are shut down.
