Mangaluru: While inspecting the development work at the airport on Friday, October 26, Chief Secretary T M Vijay Bhaskar instructed the KSRTC to commence operating buses between the Mangaluru International Airport and the city and other places.
As the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) had granted permission to the KSRTC to operate buses from the airport to Manipal, Bhaskar instructed the officials to act on it soon.
In Bengaluru city, the BMTC has been running buses from the airport to other places in the city successfully for a few years now. The hope is that the same will hold true for KSRTC in Mangaluru city.
