Man found carrying explosives at M’luru airport arrested

Mangaluru: Police on Tuesday November 30 has arrested a man found carrying explosives in a car at Mangaluru International Airport.

Addressing mediapersons on Saturday December 4 announced that they have made the arrest and that weapons as well as explosives worth Rs. 2 lakh has been seized from the accused. The car belongs to Ronnie D’Souza (32), a resident of Havanje, Udupi. He was questioned and subsequently a complaint was filed at the local police station.

It has been gathered that on Tuesday last, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel noticed a car with lights on at the parking lot of the airport. When approached the car, the personnel found guns on the seat.
