Mangaluru: The Central India Security Force (CISF) officials arrested a man with possession of unlicensed country guns at the Mangalore International Airport (MIA) on Tuesday November 30.
Havanje Reynold D’Souza (24) of Brahmavar has been arrested by CISF officials. Reynold had reportedly arrived at the airport to pick up his brother-in-law. His car was found parked in the parking lot, and CISF officers saw two firearms in the car.
According to sources, Reynold had gone hunting two days prior and had left his two country-made guns inside the car.
A case was registered against him, and upon being produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody.
