Mangaluru: A 31-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband at Kottara Chowki on Friday August 18 late night over suspicions of an illicit affair.
The victim has been identified as Blossom Lobo, a resident of J B Lobo road at Kottara Chowki. The police have arrested her husband William Lobo (35) in this connection.
Reportedly, the couple had gotten into an argument on Friday night and things got ugly when William hacked his wife to death. Blossom Lobo who sustained serious injuries is said to have died on the spot. The body has been shifted to Wenlock hospital for post-mortem.
A case stands registered at Urwa police station.
